Categorized & annotated bibliographies compiled by Michael Turney
bookshelf Public Relations Bookshelf Directory
Each of the items listed below is a limited and selective bibliography that focuses on specific aspects of public relations and is not intended to be comprehensive. Instead, they reflect the compiler's public relations experience and teaching biases. For the most part, they were meant to be helpful to college-level public relations students or professionals in the early stages of their careers. However, some of the resources also offer useful insights to more experienced practitioners.

Please think of this Public Relations Bookshelf as being permanently "under construction." I plan to make frequent additions and revisions befitting the dynamic nature of public relations and the wealth of new resources that are constantly being developed. I do, however, intend to keep its primary focus on hard-copy publications and leave it to others to compile directories of available Internet resources.
